Fast moving but complex, ‘Body of Lies’ takes you on a journey that will perplex and confuse you but if you pay attention to the storyline and keep track of what’s happening, you will not be disappointed. Take my word for it. War, Espionage, Survellience, Deceit, Counterintelligence and Doublecross are all part of the game in this movie where Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio) plays the part of a hands-on streetsmart CIA operative who has to play with both sides of the fence–the slick CIA backoffice head Ed Hoffman (Russel Crowe) who doesn’t care about a few casualties on both sides to win the war against terror and the cool headed and outwardly good mannered Jordanian intelligence chief–to come out winning not only for America but also for himself with his own life in the balance.
