Shia Lebouf is back as Sam to save the world along with Optimus Prime, our most beloved Truck turning into an awesome giant robot!! This time they really took it too far….far, far back into our ancestors. It looks like these “Primes” and”Decepticons” were part of Earth from time immemorial (hard to believe since cars and trucks didn’t exist then!!) but don’t think too much….this is an action movie. Treat it as such.

Of course the sexy foxy Megan Fox is back too. She tries hard to act but who cares? right? She is a sight to see!! Megatron is back seeking revenge and alongwith him is Starscream, a scarier villian that wants to destroy earth and has to be stopped.

From what we all know already, Michael Bay loves to EXPLODE, CRASH, BURN and VAPORIZE things in his movies and in this movie his kiddie enthusiasm for action has been finally realized!! Good going brother!!

If you are an action movie junkie…this is the movie for you. It’s a little too long for my liking but all in all a good movie after a long time.

Starts with Doug (Justin Bartha) planning his bachelors party in Vegas with his friends Stu (Ed Helms), a dentist who’s henpecked but plans to marry his girlfriend of three years, Phil (Bradley Cooper), a teacher who’s bored of the married life and Alan (Zach Galifianakis).  From there it goes into a hilarious plot that takes you on a laugh riot from the start to the finish. Some really funny scenes to watch for (most of these were shown in the trailer…so not a spoiler!): The tiger in their hotel, Mike Tyson (as himself), Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong), Vegas wedding to a stripper, a baby in the mix etc.

Go see it immediately. It is on the top of the charts even after 2 weeks. Director:   Todd Phillips.

Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) is back to being a Musuem guard giving us all this cock-and-bull about how he is a successful businessman now and all that. Almost seemed like the “As Seen on TV” commercials.  There a host of new characters that come alive including Ameilia Earhart (Amy Adams) who even falls in love with him!

The old gang is back too…..Theodore Rosevelt (Robin Williams), Jedediah (Owen Wilson), and Octavius (Steve Coogan). Adding to the line up are Rodin’s “Thinking Man”, Al Capone and Darth Vader. Also there are the usual dinosaurs, birds, animals and insects that come alive too. It left me wondering how the hell do all of them go back in their respective places and be inanimate again? But again, this is a fictional movie that just is there to make you feel good about spending your hard-earned money to make Hollywood rich!!

Anyway, John Connor (Christian Bale) is back as the leader of the humans and he is aided by Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin) and Blair Williams (Moon Bloodgood) who take on the Skynet evil computer that controls all the machines/robots. Some think he is the ONE and others don’t. That’s how you will end up after watching the movie…liking it or not!! I was definitely on the NOT side. The movie was a little hotchpotch of stories and I got a serious feeling that it was dragged in between to stretch it to it’s current length. The new terminator, Marcus Williams  (Sam Worthington) is a human (T-600 or something like that) that doesn’t even realize it is a robot and ends up almost destroying humanity.

Lots of action though too metallic, with too many machines and too few humans. I’d recommend watching it on DVD.

Logan aka Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Victor Creed or Sabretooth (Liev Schreiber) are brothers but different…quite different as we realize a little ways from the beginning. Victor’s lust for blood and killing gets started in the Vietnam war along side his brother who fights the war for the victory, not for the blood. Along comes Stryker (Danny Huston) who recruits them into his special ops of mutants and uses them to fight evil (or that’s what they thought).  After quitting and trying to lead a normal life, Logan finds his girlfriend dead and vows revenge on her killer. Thence begins a saga for blood, revenge and ultimate victory.

I loved Wolverine, Sabretooth and the final villian (Deadpool) who has ALL their collective power and believe me, there are some AWESOME fights and actions sequences. A movie that you don’t want to miss if you are a action junkie!!

Go see it in a movie theater, people. It’s one of those movies that can’t be the same on DVD.

I guess every movie needs to be seen from the eyes of the movie watcher it is meant for. 17 Again is meant for a younger audience that want magical things to happen to them and are not skeptical. For them, a nerd/dork CAN get with the school head cheerleader. They can believe that a 40-year old man can suddenly get his wish and become 17 again!

In 17 Again, Mike O’Donnell (Matthew Perry) was a high-school basketball player who was popular with the girls and was on the brink of stardom when he threw it all away to marry his girlfriend and raise their child. Twenty years later, Mike’s marriage is on the rocks, his kids don’t respect him, and his job is dull and boring. That’s when he meets the magical old ganitor that transforms his life and makes him 17 again. Of course the 17-year old is played by Zac Efron and he gets a chance to relive his life and realize that instead of crying over his past, he should work towards a brighter future.

I liked to movie because there’s still a 17-year old inside of me but I’d like to warn you to leave your “thinking caps” outside the theater to really enjoy the movie. If you can…then go for it!!
