Max Payne (not to be confused with Max Pain) moves at a fast pace and is a movie that is made for Mark Wahlberg. I saw him in M. Night Shymalan’s movie a few months ago and realized that he was a bad choice for slow movies. Here at last he dazzles. He plays a troubled cop on a crazed hunt for his wife’s killer who stops at nothing to get to the bottom of it. Unfortunately for Max Payne this is not a simple battle of guns and bullets but a lot of it depends on the supernatural nature of the enemy and the games people’s minds play on them. Can he traverse the gap and figure it out for himself? Can he trust his own colleagues and friends? Find out what happens in this explosive action drama that literally blows you away. Helping Max is a deadly femme fatale gangster lady (Mila Kunis) with a machine gun who is trying to avenge her own sister as they find their common enemy is not just one person but a whole conglomerate injecting its venom into the people of the world.
