Righteous Kill
A good storyline and plot but the movie fails to keep up the suspense and slows down miserably like the two aging actors that star in it, Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro are two police officers on a hunt for a deadly serial killer who slays bad guys in a vigilante kind of way. As the bad-guy dead bodies start collecting, the story just slows down to a point where if you knew, you could easily take a long nap and wake up and find yourself completely in tune with the story. There are only two predictable endings for this story and one of them will come true. Can’t let the cat out of the bag because I know some that actually found the ending pretty surprising. For me, it was that old and boring formula of a suspense movie. As always the two have acted well but definitely not a good choice of movie if they were looking to go out with a bang. Hope they try again soon. Sorry guys…..wait for the DVD…don’t waste your precious dollars in this slow economy. Jon Avnet directs but he was much better in “Fried Green Tomatoes.”
