Liam Neeson stars in the action thriller TAKEN set for release on January 30, 2009. A fast -paced thriller set in Paris where a former CIA operative (calls himself a “Preventer”) goes looking for his kidnapped daughter. Using all his skills from his former profession, he tracks her kidnappers down and rescues her from being sold off to the highest bidder in the flesh/slave trade.
Amazingly fast moving and showing Liam Neeson as an indestructible father that is crazed in his anger at his daughter’s kidnappers. Some great action sequences including hand-to-hand fights and gun battles. Famke Janssen acts as his divorced wife and Maggie Grace acts as his daughter.
Directed by Pierre Morel. A must-see for action junkies.
